In order to begin to use Gizj three simple steps are enough:

a) creates and personalizes your pages:

- add and delete the modules.

In order to add a module clicca on the menu main in homepage on "Add content". A directory of modules will appear you preconfigura you in the menu to the left of the page. You can try between cartelle the thematic proposals for every managed language. In order to try modules in the various languages from that you have chosen, you can always modify also temporarily your preferred language, using the menu of chosen of the language that it finds in bottom to every page.

You can search for modules also through one or more keywords, separated by commas. Clicking two times on the icone or the name of the module that interests to you, the module in preview will show, like in the following example:

In order to add the module to the page clicca on "Add the module to my page". The module will be added automatically up on the left in the page.

Beyond to the services proposals with the modules, you can also add content proposals from thirds party providers, through the standard.

RSS (which, in its most recent format, stands for "Really Simple Syndication") is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed", "web feed", or "channel", contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually.

RSS content can be read using software called a "feed reader" or an "aggregator." The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

When you find a icon on a website that interests to you, copy the address associated to the icon and paste it in the space dedicated to this service in the menu proposed, in order to add the contents.

Click on "Go" and the module will appear in preview mode. In order to add the module to the page click on "Add the module to my page". The module will be automatically added up on the left in the page.

Every module is completely personalizzabile. You can change the colors of the bar and the title it of the module, click on "Configure" in the top bar of the module. In order to update the content of the module click on the button "Update" that it finds in the advanced bar of every module. This service is particularly useful for the modules that publish news.

In order to earn space in your page, you can temporarily reduce the dimensions of the module to the single advanced bar, clicking on the button "Minimize" that it finds in the advanced bar of every module.

In order to bring back the module to its dimensions it originates them, you can click on the icon "Magnify" that he finds in the advanced bar of every module.

You can also move the module in the position that you prefer in the page, dragging it from the advanced bar with yours mouse.

- Add and delete pages

Every page of your personal space can publish 12 modules maximum. In order to add other modules to your space you can, once entered in your personal space, click on "New page". In order to eliminate a page with all its modules you can click two times on the name of the page and on the button . Then confirm the request to eliminate the page that it appears.

For renaming a page click two times on the name of a page, write the new name and confirm. In order to move the position of pages in the wished order, drag to right or to the left the name of the page with your mouse.

If you are inside your personal space, every modification to the modules and the pages is automatically saved.

b) it personalizes your space with the proposed options:

The personaliztion options are useful in order to make your space more personal. In order to approach the options up clicca on "Options" in the menu main to right. a menu will appear you to the left of the page where:

• you can modify every style of single page of your space, choosing between those proposals;
• you can decide to protect the page access of your space with your password. This option is useful if you share your computer with other friends and you decided to put Gizj.com as your homepage;
• if you decide to directly read the news and the contents supplied with the standard from your space with the internal feed reader, select this option;
• you can add a icon to every page, in order to render it personal and recognizable, choosing between the icons proposed.

c) save your work in order to re-use it and to modify it when and where you want:

In order to re-use and to modify your personal space it is necessary to register you to the service after to have read and accepted the terms of use. The following information are mandatory:

• User name: the "User name" that you will use every time you will want to login to your personal space;
• Email: your email address, necessary to send to you your forgotten password;
• Name: your name;
• Password: your password that you will use in order to login to your space and that you can modify in every moment;
• Confirmation password: repeat your password in order to verify to have it correctly typed.

If you like to enter your space automatically, without the need to type your User name and password for the "Login", select  "Remember me" option.
