| How to add a module to your pages |
|
Gizj recently introduced two new ways to add a module to your pages. Now there are 3 different ways for the user to add a module to the Gizj modules/widgets directory. 1) you can upload a module with XML format directly from your hard drive. This is the preferred method. You can test your module before uploading it using our on line tester and validator. 2) you can add the URL of an XML module without uploading it. Gizj automatically search for it on the web and adds it to the "waiting list" of modules under approval. Gizj needs to verify the respect of its terms of service and copyright laws before approval. This is a very fast way to suggest a module. You only need to copy and paste the URL of the XML module. 3) you can create on line the module with two options: 3.a simply include a page or a picture in your module (must be an html page). You have to copy and paste the URL of the page (or picture) in the form, and Gizj will include it in the module. For example, this method is useful to include webcams images in a module/widget. 3.b you can create on line the module using the HTML form. You can type HTML code directly in the area form, or, if you prefer, you can use our on line editor (select this option in the preferences form of your details page). |
